Amidst its rise in population and widespread redevelopment, the Sugar Land Office of Economic Development (SLOED) wanted to position itself to national and regional audiences as a strategic location for business investment. Despite its many benefits, there was a lack of awareness outside Houston of the community’s assets.

This approach highlighted Sugar Land’s strengths in manufacturing, life sciences, and other key sectors, while emphasizing a well-educated workforce and vibrant live/work/play amenities.

Social media updates, website content, and monthly e-blasts amplified coverage and maintained ongoing engagement with target audiences. A dedicated site selection outreach campaign further extended the multimedia approach, combining personalized e-blasts, Zoom briefings, and NYC meetings for Mayor Joe Zimmerman.
