Promoting the Opening of the World’s First Passive-House-Certified Cidery

Challenge

River Architects, a Hudson Valley-based architecture firm specializing in sustainability, enlisted Violet PR’s help in promoting the completion of the world’s first passive-house-certified cidery: Seminary Hill Orchard and Cidery in Callicoon, New York. Violet PR began working with River Architects in June 2021.

Solution

For this project, Violet PR created a press release for the announcement, outlining the amenities offered in the 3,000 square-foot modern “bunk barn” as well as its surrounding 62 acres of land. VPR leveraged its architecture-focused media contacts to secure prominent press placements, promoting Seminary Hill Orchard and Cidery as a first-of-its-kind cidery. At the end of the campaign, VPR earned placements for River Architects in outlets such as Dezeen, Archivibe, 6sqft, Prism, Building Design + Construction, and Construction Specifier.
