Violet PR Receives NJBIZ ‘Empowering Women Award’ for Outstanding Commitment to Women’s Advancement in New Jersey

Violet PR’s Vice President Christina Forrest accepts the NJBIZ Empowering Women Award on behalf of the first on August 1, 2023.

Violet PR, a leading boutique public relations agency headquartered in Montclair, N.J., was awarded the prestigious NJBIZ Empowering Women Award on Aug. 1, 2023, for its exceptional commitment to women’s empowerment and advancement. The award celebrates companies and organizations demonstrating outstanding dedication to supporting women in the workplace and the community.

As the Vice President of Violet PR and a firm believer in promoting women’s advancement, this recognition holds profound meaning for me and our entire team. I was honored to accept the award on behalf of the agency at the award ceremony at The DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset.

Violet PR is a woman-owned business and certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and LGBT Business Enterprise; our commitment to empowering women is one of the core values of our organization. Over 90 percent of our staff are incredible women who create a work environment that fosters growth, inclusivity, and support.

Reflecting on our journey, I am immensely proud to see women holding top leadership positions, such as our president, April Mason, who has been an incredible inspiration to all of us. Her vision and dedication have proven pivotal in shaping Violet PR’s commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment.

Receiving the NJBIZ Empowering Women Award reinforces our belief that empowering women is not just a part of our business model; it’s the heartbeat of our agency. At Violet PR, we firmly believe in providing an atmosphere where women can thrive, lead, and shatter barriers.

Our dedication to empowering women goes beyond our workplace, however.
