Before joining Violet PR, her career spanned work in both the general tech startup and the climate tech sectors, where she has developed a keen understanding of the stories that resonate in these fast-moving industries.

Specializing in media relations, Jamie excels at crafting compelling pitches that secure interviews and coverage for her clients in targeted outlets. Her work encompasses the full scope of media relations – from pitching and drafting press releases to staffing interviews and shepherding content to completion. She has secured placements in publications like Forbes and The Wall Street Journal, among others.

At Violet PR, Jamie supports a diverse portfolio of clients including the Kansas City Area Development Council, Invest Buffalo, Dimensional Innovations, the Pittsburgh International Airport, and the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Across each account, her focus is on developing and executing media strategies that drive meaningful results.

Jamie holds a B.A. in Journalism with a minor in Gender and Media from Rutgers University. Though she originally set sights on a career in journalism, a series of internships and classes introduced her to the public relations world, and she never looked back.
