DeLaney Cittadino has nearly a decade of experience in strategic communications, with a track record of advancing business priorities through high-impact media relations campaigns in economic development, real estate, infrastructure, tech and financial industries. At Violet PR, she leads integrated communications programs for clients, working closely with public- and private-sector leaders to shape compelling narratives and promote their most important messages.
Before joining Violet PR, DeLaney served as an Account Manager with Prosek Partners, where she managed clients in the private equity, real estate and fintech spaces. During her time at the agency, she developed high-quality media materials, executive thought leadership programs and LinkedIn strategies while driving earned media for complex, highly regulated sectors. This experience refined her ability to translate technical information into approachable, compelling narratives.
DeLaney also served as a Senior Account Executive at Development Counsellors International, where she managed a portfolio of clients across the U.S. While at DCI, she shaped media strategies for regional leaders and their organizations, including overseeing media training for executives and government officials. Her work highlighted business investment initiatives and yielded features in top-tier publications including Bloomberg, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, MarketWatch and more.
Earlier in her career, she secured dozens of earned placements for national consumer brands at a global agency, with results in Forbes, Robb Report and Travel + Leisure, among other leading publications.

She brings extensive experience in developing executive talking points, coordinating media tours, managing fast-moving projects and building strong relationships with reporters across business, finance and economic development publications.
A graduate of Appalachian State University, DeLaney holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Public Relations.
