Promoting Summit Health’s grand opening in Montclair

Challenge

Summit Health, New Jersey’s premier healthcare provider, enlisted Violet PR to help with media and influencer relations for the grand opening of its newest healthcare hub in Montclair, N.J., in fall 2021. The 30,000-square-foot multispecialty office combined 20 physicians across 17 specialties on the sixth and seventh floors of the Wellmont Arts Plaza. As the anchor tenant, Summit Health was among the first to locate in the development.

Solution

Violet PR distributed a media advisory and press release for the ribbon-cutting event, outlining the hub’s new amenities and increased convenience for the community. Violet PR tapped regional media contacts and offered exclusive hard-hat tours and interviews with Summit Health’s CEO, Jeff Alter, at the grand opening. During this six-week campaign, VPR secured nearly 40 prominent press placements in outlets such as NorthJersey.com, Montclair Local, NJBIZ, ROI-NJ and Real Estate NJ. Violet PR also worked with influencers to reach a local consumer audience, including The Montclair Girl (@montclairgirl), Montclair NOW (@montclair.newjersey) and Hey There Montclair (@heytheremontclair).
