Living Cities is a collaborative of prominent philanthropic foundations and financial institutions committed to ensuring that all people in U.S. cities live economically stable, thriving, abundant, healthy and connected lives. Living Cities seeks to close the racial income and wealth gaps that divide Americans by removing barriers to capital investment and economic opportunity.
Challenge
Living Cities hired Violet PR to promote its leaders, partnerships and organizational efforts to close the racial wealth gap. Violet PR was entrusted with managing media outreach to position Living Cities as a leader in philanthropy and financial impact, while also uplifting Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities through equal opportunities in housing and entrepreneurship. The campaign aimed to increase awareness about Living Cities’ investment opportunities and on-site projects that directly impact cities.
Solution
Using data and storytelling, Violet PR developed a public relations plan emphasizing the importance and positive impact of investing in BIPOC communities.
