ArtPride New Jersey sought to amplify the state’s arts and culture sector by launching a completely redesigned JerseyArts.com. This online hub was created to provide an intuitive, all-in-one destination for residents and visitors to explore arts events, venues, and organizations across the state. 

Despite the arts’ significant economic impact—generating over $532 million annually and supporting nearly 10,000 jobs—many New Jerseyans were unaware of its full scope. Additionally, ArtPride wanted to use the website launch to reinforce the economic value of the arts, ensuring stakeholders, policymakers, and the public recognized its role in local economies. 

Solution

To support the launch and broader Discover Jersey Arts initiatives, Violet PR was enlisted to drive media coverage and public engagement, positioning the new JerseyArts.com as the go-to resource for arts and culture in the state. 

Our 4-week campaign leveraged a compelling, data-driven media strategy. We crafted a press release featuring key statistics from the Arts & Economic Prosperity study and secured media interviews with ArtPride leadership to emphasize the role of the arts in job creation, tourism, and community enrichment. 

We positioned the website launch within a broader economic and cultural narrative, ensuring coverage reached a wide audience and encouraged public engagement with New Jersey’s arts community.
