Dan is an experienced writer and media strategist with a knack for creative storytelling. A former reporter for the New York Daily News and multiple technology publications (e.g., Information Security Media Group and the Cyber Security Hub), Dan brings a unique, journalistic perspective to his clients’ PR programs. Some areas of career specialty have included infrastructure development, state policy and disruptive technology.

In his career to date, Dan has led earned media campaigns for regional and municipal economic development organizations, including work at Violet PR for Kansas City, Allen, Texas, Ithaca, New York, and others. He has also led PR programs for real estate development companies and architecture and engineering firms. With the support of his strong writing background, Dan also helps lead long-form thought leadership programs. He has crafted technical articles for economic development organizations, global cybersecurity, property technology, and fintech companies — partnering with C-suite executives and other subject matter experts to develop compelling bylined and opinion stories for media placement.

Dan holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Fairfield University and a B.A. in Communications (Journalism/PR) from Monmouth University.
